Ferry Service
Locate Michigan's North/South corridor, the I-75 Expressway.
Exit at marker #326, (Levering Road), turn east, travel eight
miles to the city of Cheboygan. Continue east to Water Street
at the foot of the bridge spanning the Cheboygan River. Turn
south one block to the Plaunt Transportation Company dock. Call
888-752-8687 for the ferry schedule. Round
trip rates: $13.50 US per adult, $9 US per child, $45.50 US
per automobile. Pricing subject to change.
A reservation
is necessary only when transporting an automobile to the Island.
Please note that
all scheduled trips are Strictly Weather Permitting.
Any trips in December through April are at the sole discretion
of the ship's captain.

Plane Service
Call Great Lakes Air, their number is 906-643-7165.
They will fly from the Cheboygan or St. Ignace airports. Be
sure to advise them you wish to be flown from the Cheboygan
airport to Bois Blanc. They will quote the current fare and
equipment for this ten-minute flight.
Exit the I-75
Expressway at marker #326, (Levering Road), turn east, travel
to the city of Cheboygan. As you approach the city the Cheboygan
Airport will be on your left.
Pellston Regional Airport, Northern Michigan’s
gateway to the world, hosts a Northwest Airlines Air Link. Insel
Haus is accessible to guests from any nation served by international
airlines.
Pellston car rental and taxi service is available for the 25
minute ride to Cheboygan.

Helicopter
Service
Insel Haus guests also arrive by helicopter. They land on our
